After the incident, Lil Baby’s mugshot quickly went viral. In the image, he appears to have red eyes and looks impaired, wearing a black tank top.
According to previous reports from The Shade Room, Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. TMZ later revealed that security footage from Encore in Las Vegas captured the moment Baby was handed a gun.
Officers transported the ‘Drip Too Hard’ rapper to the Clark County Detention Center, where he was held on a $5,000 bail before being released.
Moreover, on Wednesday, August 28, The Shade Room released footage of the musician being handcuffed. In the video, Lil Baby can be heard offering security $200,000 to make a phone call for him, and later he encourages the officer to search him, claiming he was legally carrying a weapon.

Further Updates on Lil Baby’s Arrest
In response to the situation, Baby’s attorneys, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, provided a statement exclusively to TMZ.
The lawyers stated they are thoroughly investigating the incident.
“To clarify, Dominique Jones possesses a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. We are actively looking into the facts and circumstances of his arrest in Las Vegas,” Findling and Chesnoff explained.
Despite holding a valid permit, TMZ noted that “Nevada does not recognize permits issued in Georgia.”
Additionally, as of Thursday, August 29, it appears that Baby’s Instagram account has been disabled.
