Currently, the “Duality” musician is facing some low energy, but he’s determined not to let it affect him. More importantly, he’s still processing the unexpected experience he just had.
“The toughest part is feeling foolish for what I did,” he remarked. “It’s not even about the physical aspect. It’s like realizing, ‘Wow, I really learned that lesson the hard way.’ I need to remember to slow down and really consider what’s going on before jumping in headfirst.”
He’s optimistic about hitting the road with Slipknot again soon, especially since he’s hopeful that surgery or skin grafts won’t be necessary.
“As long as my hands are fine,” he noted, “I should be able to make it work.”
Since Sid’s accident, both he and Kelly have felt a tremendous amount of gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they’ve received.
“I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has sent well wishes to Sid,” Kelly expressed in an Instagram video on August 24. “He’s really doing a lot better.”
She also took a moment to issue a serious warning on her Instagram Stories the previous day, stating, “This is why you don’t mess with burn piles.”
