The upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey may bring some significant changes.

And we might already have an indication of what to expect.

As rumors swirl that many cast members have been let go from the beloved series, Melissa Gorga has made her stance clear.

In a recent episode of the Two T’s In a Pod podcast, Gorga openly discussed her current feelings towards the show and especially about her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice.

“With all the gossip going around, I’m fully prepared for anything,” Gorga shared with hosts Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, commenting on the speculation surrounding the cast, and adding, “I realize that Teresa and I have completely different personalities.”

However, there was more to Melissa’s thoughts on Teresa.

“If Bravo chooses to take a darker approach, I’d have to say, ‘That’s not the kind of show I want to be a part of,’ because truly, it isn’t,” Gorga explained before addressing Teresa directly:

“I refuse to be part of that toxic environment, so as long as she’s involved with it, I wouldn’t feel like I’ve lost anything.”

The tension between Melissa and Teresa has been ongoing for years.

During Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the two barely shared any screen time, and the season ended so tumultuously that producers chose to forgo the annual reunion.

Many fans feel that the storylines have grown stale and the characters have become less interesting.

Could the network really part ways with Giudice and completely reboot the show?

“I’m not going anywhere. I started this show, and I’ll stay as long as Bravo wants me,” Giudice stated on Live with Kelly & Mark last month.

This suggests that the casting decisions are ultimately up to Andy Cohen and his team.

We’ll be eagerly watching to see what direction they take.
