Cristo Fernández, known for his role as Dani Rojas on the popular Apple TV series, has recently collaborated with Jake from State Farm and NFL star Patrick Mahomes in a new football campaign that redefines the phrase “Football is life.”

Fernández found it easy to accept the opportunity to star in the new State Farm commercial, titled “Bundle is Life.”
“The primary reason I said yes was the chance to reprise my role as Dani Rojas, which made the decision a no-brainer,” he shared exclusively with The Blast.
“State Farm commercials are already known for their creativity and humor, so playing Dani in this ad was the cherry on top. The super cherry on top was meeting Patrick Mahomes!”

Highlights of Collaborating with State Farm
One of the highlights for Fernández was executing impressive dribbles and juggles with a unique American football/soccer ball alongside an icon like Patrick.
He recalls fondly when Patrick shook his hand and complimented him on his skills—a moment he cherishes.
“That was the highlight,” he remarked. “I’ll never forget the scene when Jake, Patrick, and I were together; being with both of them felt incredibly special.”

‘Bundle is Life’ Redefines ‘Football is Life’
The new campaign, “Bundle is Life,” has launched alongside a State Farm commercial that creatively reinterprets Fernández’s memorable line from “Ted Lasso,” “Football is life.”
The campaign will be featured across digital platforms, social media, and streaming services, as well as in partnership with Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football through co-branded commercials and halftime spots. This initiative enables State Farm to continue its tradition of using sports marketing to deliver entertaining and humorous content to both sports enthusiasts and State Farm customers.
Prior to teaming up with State Farm and Mahomes, Fernández was a Chargers fan, but his loyalties might have shifted.

“I’ve been spending considerable time in Los Angeles, so I was rooting for the Chargers. I also support the 49ers due to friends in San Francisco. But after meeting Patrick Mahomes, I find myself rooting for the Chiefs as well,” he admitted.

‘Ted Lasso’ Remains Close to Cristo Fernández’s Heart
When asked about his favorite project that holds a special significance to him, Fernández confidently stated, “It’s definitely ‘Ted Lasso.’
“Understanding its impact on so many people means a great deal to me,” he shared with The Blast. “Dani Rojas reflects a significant aspect of my identity and background, and I will always be grateful to ‘Ted Lasso’ for providing that platform.”
He expressed that the State Farm campaign also carries special meaning for him.
“That’s why this collaboration with State Farm is so meaningful; we combined the world of ‘Ted Lasso’ with State Farm and created something unique,” he explained.
Cristo Fernández Has Various Exciting Projects Ahead
Looking towards the future, Fernández has a host of projects in the pipeline.
“I have projects like ‘Venom,’ ‘Alexander’ with Eva Longoria, the third season of ‘Acapulco,’ ‘Sonic,’ and ‘Zorro’ on Amazon Prime,” he mentioned.
“I also invite everyone to follow the work my sister Paloma Cinco and I are doing at ‘Espectro MX Films,’ both in Guadalajara and Los Angeles.”
